Session Times

All 75 minutes; this extra 15 minutes each session (compared to a one hour session), amounts to an extra 2hrs and 30mins over a ten week term. This allows for extra study time, and for the addition of expert knowledge on study skills, exam preparation, assignment writing, university preparation and more.

Research shows us that one-on-one instruction with an expert teacher is one of the most effective ways to have a positive effect on a students learning. 

 

According to DataWorks Educational Research :  “John Hattie asserts, visible teaching and learning occurs when there is deliberate practise aimed at attaining mastery of the goal, when there is feedback given and sought, and when there are active, passionate, and engaging people (teacher, students, peers) participating in the act of learning.”

 

John Hattie, is a Professor of Education from Australia and New Zealand, and has published a series of works that statistically determines the effectiveness of different teaching tools and strategies. The Times Educational Supplement called Hattie’s research “the holy grail of education.”

Package Deals

-For clients that book multiple sessions upfront, e.g., Term in advance payment, 10% discount (10 sessions for the price of 9). (Term in Advance discount).


-For clients that are sending multiple siblings to be tutored each week for the term, 5% discount. (Family discount).


-For clients that are attending more than 1 sessions per week for the term, 5% discount. (Multiple session discount).
